I am originally from Richmond, VA and have spent many years living on the Outer Banks during the summers and it has been my permanent home since 2002. I have a degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, concentration in Real Estate & Urban Land Development, after which I worked in the property management field as well as banking. "We have been going to the Outer Banks every summer for the last 12 years or so and my wife's family since she was just a kid and we always dreamed of buying a house there. "We starting thinking about buying a house in OBX as an investment property a few years ago. Ten months ago, we got serious and started cruising the MLS listings and various realtors' web sites.
