OBX Realty Group: The Fall Season On The Outer Banks Offers Something For Everyone

-A beautiful fall sunset over the Roanoke Sound-Photo by Matt Huband

It's that time of year on the Outer Banks where everything is just perfect!! If you have never been to the Outer Banks from Labor Day to Thanksgiving then you are missing out on what many locals declare as their favorite time of the year. I have lived on the Outer Banks going on 9 years and wish this time of year would last forever. For starters the weather is just fantastic, gone are the hot humid 100* days, the pace of the island gets even more laid back, surfing is at it's peak, and the fishing is awesome. The beaches are not filled with wall to wall people and the ocean water is still warm in the mid 70's. Spend a day on the beach in the fall and all of your worries will just melt away. Another perk of visiting in the fall, no waiting to get into your favorite restaurant plus many of the local business's have great fall sales. So what are you waiting for?? Make plans to visit the Outer Banks this fall, It is worth the trip!!
